Media Availability – Family makes appeal re missing man

Please join Delta Police and the family of missing 88-year-old (Name Removed) for a media availability today. (Name Removed) has been missing since May 15, and suffers from dementia. Please see our updated press release at it.ly/2zHDozQ for the most recent clothing description.

Where: North Delta Public Safety Building, 11375 84 Avenue (in north parking lot behind the building)

When: 2:30 pm today, May 19, 2020

Who: Superintendent Harj Sidhu, head of Delta Police operations, will provide a brief update on the search to date for (Name Removed). He can provide interviews in Punjabi and English. (Name Removed) (Grandson) and (Name Removed) (daughter) will also be on present, representing (Name Removed)'s family.

 

We understand some media outlets have been in contact with the family directly. The family requests that they attend this media availability, so all questions can be answered at one time.

We believe the parking lot area will provide enough room to physically distance, but please bring appropriate mics to ensure adequate audio.
